I'm old

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass by. It's about learning to dance in the rain"

There's a quote to make your day...

So, it's crunch time. Two more official weeks of classes. Gotta do homework homework homework! But no one wants to read about that! So how about I tell you about my glorious week end:

Last weekend me and the coolest boy in the world went on a date to the "unplugged" concert at the college, only I have no idea why they call it that because everyone was playing electric acoustics hooked up to an amp....okay okay, maybe they were hooked up to the P.A. but in anycase it wasn't a TRUE acoustic show. Still enjoyable none the less.

I missed writing last week but that weekend was a blast an' a half. Institute put on a date dance- it was dinner, a movie, and dancing.

I don't have much to say today. Keep it real, and Detroit keep rockin'

Burrr...itos anyone?

This was quite the weekend.

Ambassadors put on a Rebel Retreat this last Friday & Saturday (Rebel Retreat is where we invite high school seniors from all over the nation to come and experience Dixie for a weekend). We went to the battle of the sexes Friday night and I felt like I was going to "lose" my dinner the rest of the night. It was so sick! They had two people drink a happy meal smoothie. Disgusting! After that we all went to a Bonfire out on the Arizona strip. There were quite a few high school students and one or two Ambassadors that had never been to Arizona so we stopped and took pictures on the state border;)

Saturday after I got home from the Rebel Retreat I pretty much crashed. Then later that night I went to two of the coolest peoples' wedding reception, Andy & Mandy, then to the college for a hypnotist show which was hilarious. Afterward, a group of us went to Denny's then spend a little while being lost in the desert looking for an acoustic show that was going on. We never found it so we resorted to going to one of my friends house's and watching Kung Fu Panda.

There's a picture from Homecoming. It was a blast!

So this last week was good. There were lots of parties and social gathers for Halloween and what not. Wednesday I went on a date with this super fun kid Tommy. We went to the local hot spot "Spoon me." It's this new frozen yogurt place out in Washington. Afterwards we met up with a group of student government and some ambassadors to go on a tour of the DSC tunnels - that's right, we know where the tunnels are and we're not telling;) I'll put on some pictures later.

Then we went to my friend Ricky's birthday party, yea Ricky! Happy Birthday!

Friday I went to a wild Costume party. The guys that were hosting it were all "dressed" as chip n' dales dancers...ouch. So I'm the girl in the picture by the half naked boy. It was a fun party, most every other night of the week I was studying or working, but there was a lot going on this week, very fun.
